The Ricks were self-pitying, self-serving sociopaths who separated the multiverse from the universes that had their Ricks as the smartest human being in their respective universes. Asshole Victim: Aside from the Mortys, it's hard to pity the Ricks when they were brutally killed by President Morty, the Galactic Federation, and the Galactic Federation Prisoners.
